Bottling Line Operator
Entry Level – Part Time

Responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining the machinery that bottles and packages spirits in a bourbon distillery, including bottling and labeling by hand. This role ensures efficiency, quality control, and compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.

Job Summary
The Bottling Line Operator contributes to the final stage of bourbon production by ensuring that every bottle is filled, sealed, labeled, and packaged to meet the distillery’s high standards. The position requires a high level of attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential duties include operating and monitoring bottling line equipment, handling materials like bottles and labels, and performing quality control checks for proper fill levels and labeling. They are also responsible for troubleshooting minor production issues, documenting production data, maintaining a clean workspace, adhering to safety regulations, and collaborating with team members.

Qualifications and Requirements
Preferred qualifications for this role often include prior manufacturing or production experience, especially in the beverage or food sector.

Essential skills include:

  • Strong attention to detail, basic mechanical aptitude, problem-solving, communication, and the ability to follow standard procedures.

  • The physical demands of the job involve standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in a production environment.

  • Must be at least 21 years old and willing to follow safety and hygiene protocols as well as pass a background check.

Pay Rate: $15–$25 per hour (based on experience)
